Le cycliste monte sur la balan\u00e7oire, qui bascule vers le bas lorsqu\u2019il franchit le point du pivot. Lorsque le cycliste sort de la balan\u00e7oire, celle-ci reprend sa position initiale. Les balan\u00e7oires sont tr\u00e8s appr\u00e9ci\u00e9es de la client\u00e8le cycliste de niveaux interm\u00e9diaire et avanc\u00e9.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Voici quelques \u00e9l\u00e9ments \u00e0 consid\u00e9rer dans la planification d\u2019une balan\u00e7oire, qui vous \u00e9viteront des tracas\u00a0:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>La balan\u00e7oire est un obstacle qui se franchit dans une seule direction (elle redescend et reprend sa position initiale \u00e0 la suite du passage du cycliste);<\/li>\n<li>L\u2019approche doit \u00eatre ferme et d\u00e9pourvue d\u2019obstacles ou de virages\u00a0:\n<ul>\n<li>id\u00e9alement, le sentier d\u00e9crirait une courbe permettant de voir la hauteur et la longueur de la balan\u00e7oire, avant d\u2019adopter une trajectoire rectiligne menant \u00e0 l\u2019obstacle,<\/li>\n<li>les points d\u2019entr\u00e9e et de sortie doivent pr\u00e9senter une transition douce entre le sol et la surface de roulement (diminuer la hauteur de la marche \u00e0 l\u2019entr\u00e9e, qui peut influencer la trajectoire du cycliste).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Une \u00e9chappatoire doit \u00eatre visible avant que le cycliste s\u2019engage sur la balan\u00e7oire;<\/li>\n<li>Une zone de d\u00e9gagement (zone de chute) doit entourer l\u2019obstacle;<\/li>\n<li>La section entre l\u2019entr\u00e9e de la balan\u00e7oire et le pivot doit reprendre sa position initiale apr\u00e8s le passage d\u2019un cycliste. Si on souhaite avoir deux sections de longueur \u00e9gale, on ajoute un poids sous la section d\u2019entr\u00e9e, sinon on d\u00e9cale le pivot pour que la section d\u2019entr\u00e9e soit plus longue, et donc plus lourde, que la section de sortie;<\/li>\n<li>La balan\u00e7oire devrait \u00eatre l\u00e9g\u00e8rement plus large que le sentier dans lequel elle se trouve, sauf pour celle qui est con\u00e7ue pour les cyclistes de niveau tr\u00e8s avanc\u00e9. Aussi, elle permettra de mettre le pied sur la surface en cas de perte de vitesse ou de contr\u00f4le (sauf pour le niveau le plus difficile, o\u00f9 l\u2019on suppose que les adeptes sont suffisamment avanc\u00e9s pour pouvoir sauter en bas de la balan\u00e7oire en cas de perte d\u2019\u00e9quilibre;<\/li>\n<li>Plus la poutre est courte, plus le mouvement est amplifi\u00e9;<\/li>\n<li>Plus le pivot est haut, plus l\u2019angle de la mont\u00e9e et de la descente est abrupt, et plus il est difficile de conserver son \u00e9quilibre sur la balan\u00e7oire, parce qu\u2019on perd de la vitesse en montant, et on ressent l\u2019inertie (l\u2019immobilit\u00e9 diminue grandement l\u2019\u00e9quilibre) le temps que la balan\u00e7oire compl\u00e8te son mouvement. C\u2019est \u00e0 ce moment que la plupart des chutes se produisent;<\/li>\n<li>Un mat\u00e9riau l\u00e2che et peu compactable, par exemple du sable, est \u00e0 privil\u00e9gier au point de contact de la sortie de la balan\u00e7oire, pour amortir l\u2019impact au moment o\u00f9 la balan\u00e7oire bascule et pour \u00e9viter un contrecoup trop fort qui d\u00e9s\u00e9quilibrera le cycliste.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_column_text border_color=\u00a0\u00bbcolor-193714&Prime; border_style=\u00a0\u00bbsolid\u00a0\u00bb css=\u00a0\u00bb.vc_custom_1536950538958{border-top-width: 10px !important;border-right-width: 10px !important;border-bottom-width: 10px !important;border-left-width: 10px !important;padding-top: 10px !important;padding-right: 10px !important;padding-bottom: 10px !important;padding-left: 10px !important;}\u00a0\u00bb]<\/p>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>ATTENTION : La balan\u00e7oire \u00e9tant un obstacle peu commun, il est possible que les adeptes n\u2019aient pas l\u2019exp\u00e9rience pour la franchir. De plus, comme il s\u2019agit d\u2019un obstacle mobile, il faut avertir les cyclistes du danger possible par un affichage qui mentionne :<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Risque de blessure (chute au sol);<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Obstacle mobile : franchir la balan\u00e7oire \u00e0 pied au pr\u00e9alable pour en comprendre le fonctionnement ;<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>Ajuster sa vitesse en cons\u00e9quence (trop lente = peu d\u2019\u00e9quilibre, trop rapide = la balan\u00e7oire ne peut descendre en m\u00eame temps que le cycliste);<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"text-align: left\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\"><strong>En cas de perte d\u2019\u00e9quilibre, abandonnez votre v\u00e9lo et utilisez-le pour sauter au sol.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][vc_single_image media=\u00a0\u00bb1049&Prime;
